Meet Tiffany: Certified Christian Life Coach
Hi there, my name is Tiffany and I’ve been married to a hilarious and dedicated man for 19 years. We have 3 amazing children ages 11, 10 and 8.5. We live in the beauty of Northern Colorado, and we spend our days and evenings in the chaos of family life. We prayed for years to be able to have kiddos, and so while the days can be long, we’re already experiencing the bittersweet truth that the years are short.
I spent most of the last 11 years raising my babes, but before they came, I was (and still am) a personal trainer certified by the American Council on Exercise. While I absolutely love helping women develop strength and confidence physically, I knew within a couple years of becoming a trainer that God had ‘more’ for me. I spent years battling disordered eating and, to be honest and vulnerable, I still struggle with body dysmorphia (some times more than other times). I knew right away that traditional personal training is not what God was calling me to. The Hebrew word nephesh is broadly translated as soul or spirit. However, nephesh is actually more about the entire being – mind, body AND soul. God revealed very quickly that you cannot just train your body while neglecting your heart and your mind. And vice versa. We are created as entire beings, and to train one without training the others leaves a gaping hole in your life. So as the hectic days of babies turned into toddlerville, and then as they grew even more and started going to school, God planted another dream in my heart.
My Vision
You see, I LOVE learning about people – I love digging in and asking questions and finding the “why” behind the “what”. Often, before becoming a coach, people would ask me if I had ever thought about becoming a counselor. While I admire and respect the many therapists I’ve had and the ones that I know, I also know that that isn’t exactly where God has called me to. I’ve had many years of therapy (and still continue to see one!) and I know God has used it to help me become who I am today, and I couldn’t have gotten here without the help of someone else digging in and helping me to tease out things that have affected my life, my thought process, and my behavior patterns. But the major breakthroughs really happened when I started inviting Jesus into the process. I learned about something called Inner Healing and found a ministry that facilitated it. After many sessions (spanning many years), and with the continuation of therapy, I found myself walking a new path – creating new pathways in my brain and walking out my newfound freedom. And so He brought me here – learning to live and walk out His purpose for me, while helping other people learn to live and walk out His purpose for THEM.
In my practice I get to use coaching tools as well as Inner Healing tools to help facilitate more freedom and breakthrough. I can’t tell you how alive it makes me feel to have a front-row seat to the transformation of my clients! The fact that I get to partner with HIM (the God of the universe!) in helping people find their purpose, to heal and move forward in their own freedom, and to be a part of their journey is an absolute honor.
I’m praying that if you’re reading this right now, and God is speaking to your spirit, that you’ll answer His call. And if your spirit isn’t being stirred, I’m praying that He will take you to someone who can help you in your own journey to walk out the new paths that He is calling you into. Thanks so much for stopping by. Many blessings on your journey.
